On the top of Jakarta

These images take from Monumen Nasional, known as Monas, the most famous Jakarta Landmark. The first image are the east side of monas, which is Gambir Railway Station.

The second one is the south-west of Monas, consist Bank Indonesia Towers, and Bundaran Indosat.

Jakarta government also rehabilitate the water fountain on the west side of Monas. Its become one of the Monas attraction on every saturday and sunday afternoon.

Tomang Junction - night traffic, December 2005

Having the opportunity to catch the moment on the traffic of Tomang Junction -West Jakarta- at night was thrilling moment for me.

Taken from 19th floor of Taman Anggrek apartment, last year (dec 2005) when overnight stay on my japanese friend apartment.

The clock showed at 21:20 that nite, and it was a saturday nite, so the traffic is on the peak hour.

Kramatjati fish market consist of street vendors who specialize sell fresh fish in the street from about 18.00 to 06.00, make traffic jam with risk the fish will contaminated by smoke from any kind of automobile and motorcycle.
